Our Background

Sharon holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, where she studied leadership in systems and organizational change, communication and leadership in groups and teams, concepts and theories of organizational leadership and applied methods for organizational leadership. As a values-based leader, her primary values are ethics, excellence, and innovation. Sharon is a strong facilitator and strategist with an extensive background in mapping and influencing change in complex systems, particularly in the complicated landscape of healthcare.

Working for almost the past 10 years in primary healthcare on Vancouver Island for non-profits, Sharon led and directed multi-million dollar healthcare service plans to create and bring new primary healthcare services to areas of need on Vancouver Island.

Previous to her work in Canada, Sharon spent 10 years in the UK as an IT consultant, conducting needs analysis for large, multi-national media companies and banking organization clients.  Sharon worked to align business needs with system technical capabilities and led change management and employee training programs across continents to implement enterprise software system implementations successfully.
